Mike Vermeulen, a native of central Pennsylvania is currently the V.P. of maintenance operations at Squared Away Lawns. Upon graduating from high school, Mike joined the Army to serve his country. Mike was stationed in Fort Riley Kansas where he met his wife Jen. Mike and Jen have 3 grown sons Jacob, Andrew, and Caden.

After serving, Mike started his landscape career as a laborer on a mowing crew. Mike has since had leadership roles throughout the country including operations management, sales management, business development, and branch management.

His hard work, commitment and love for the business has helped him grow into the role he is in today. Mike is dedicated to providing Squared Away Lawns customers with respect, attention to detail and follow-through.
